A Side Note

At one point, Imran disappeared and was found furiously coding at another terminal in an effort to produce a similar filter in the wavelet domain. While this filter was able to detect the scream, it also detected random loud noises. Imran still thinks wavelets are cool. So do we. He also mentioned this Gabor guy; maybe we can talk about that some other time. Yes, we, too believe that wavelets hold the key to happiness and attaining nirvana. Wavelets are changing the world. Just not ours, on this project.
