GSA Meeting Minutes

November 14, 2001

 

1.      Passed out an announcement from Louma Ghandour in career services about some upcoming career workshops.   The workshops are designed to help graduate students prepare for the graduate student career fair to be held in February.

 

2.      Miles presented his plan for the structuring of the Beer Bike planning committee.

 

3.      We discussed the proposed IT fee and talked about requesting another information session by Chuck Henry and Will Deigaard.  This information session will be on December 3, 2001.

 

4.      The reps nominated and elected a new treasurer for the GSA.  The old treasurer, Aaron Brabson, is taking a leave of absence from school to recover from injuries received in a car accident.  The new GSA treasurer is Rob Iverson of the Jones School.
