About the CSC:
The Catholic Student Center (CSC) is a Catholic
Christian faith community in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. We are
a small, diverse, and constantly changing community, composed of Catholic students of Rice University and the schools of the Texas Medical Center and faculty and staff who choose to make the CSC their faith community.
The Mission of the Catholic Student Center is
- to provide varied opportunities for the students to grow in the knowledge and practice of their faith, especially through the celebration of liturgy,
- to create a welcoming environment which fosters human and Christian development
- to encourage a spirit of mutual support in Christian community and outreach in service to the larger community.
